Description

Transcription:

"Dear Mother Joseph,
I am so sorry I did not answer your letter sooner with regard to Etta Doris. I really do not know what had better be done. It seems a shame to have her return to such a place as her parents have But I may leave the matter with you as I know you love these poor souls equally with me and will do what you think is right. Do you think it worth the while to transfer these children to some other State where they are not of age until they are twenty-one?
Much love to all the dear sisters,
I remain sincerely yours in Christ,
M. M. Katharine."
